About the Role
As General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, financial performance, team leadership, and customer satisfaction of our Rancho Cucamonga location. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on building a high-performing team, maximizing program effectiveness, and growing community relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the location’s leadership and instructional teams, fostering a positive, values-driven culture
- Oversee daily operations, including instructor scheduling, program execution, and safety compliance
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) weekly, ensuring efficient staffing and payroll management
- Optimize class schedules and space utilization to support consistent enrollment and revenue growth
- Handle customer service escalations with professionalism and empathy, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
- Conduct regular team check-ins, lead training sessions, and support employee development
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager on strategy, staffing plans, and operational improvements
Qualifications and Skills
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within swim schools, youth programs, or service-based operations
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve escalated issues professionally and empathetically
- Experience managing day-to-day operations, including scheduling, payroll, and staff oversight
- Familiarity with class management systems, timekeeping tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to analyze and act on performance metrics (KPIs), enrollment trends, and staffing needs
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
